How to Feel Like the Boss of Your Life Again by @melissasteginus

I’m passionate about empowering people to recognize that they are in control—you are the boss of your life! I know (from experience) that the balanced, productive, and fulfilled life you envision is not as far away as you might think.

I know and teach this because I’ve seen a MAJOR transformation in my life—one that’s led me to trust in and pursue what’s important to meIt’s shaken me into remembering, “Hey! I’m in charge of my life!” and has led me into a world of self-love.

Here’s a brief run down of my transformation—using self care as my main tool—and what I’m doing now to help others.

Before self care (aka the “WTF am I doing?” stage)

“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” — Howard Thurman

I remember the days when this quote gave me crippling anxiety. The days when everything in my life was fueled by obligation. Work, friendships, routines—all defined by “should.”

“What the world needs is people who have come alive.” Spare me, Thurman. What does that even mean?

I lived in a box of fear and frustration, shaped by what I thought I was supposed to do or want. I poured myself into everyone else but when it came to myself, I was completely at a loss.

I was exhausted, unhealthy, and totally unfulfilled.

The transformation (“I’ll tell you WTF I’m doing!”)

After years of mundane and meaningless routine, I knew I needed to make some serious life changes.

So I dug into what makes me “come alive.” What makes me tick? I constantly assessed my lifestyle, ideals, and levels of satisfaction. I explored all kinds of self care activities, practices, and routines.

Through this process, I rediscovered myself and redesigned my whole life.

I reconnected with who I want to be and what I want my life to look like. I reshaped my choices, routines, and habits to mould my lifestyle to my needs and wants.

And now I’m helping others do the same.

My story now (“Let’s do this together”)

My mission now is to guide and support others through their personal transformation process. I’m here to guide you into (and through) the path that’s right for you.

Helping others redesign and regain control of their lives lights me right up. Teaching this makes me COME ALIVE!

Work with me and start moving toward the life you want, deserve, and are capable of living.

Whatever your life looks like now, remember this: you are in charge of your life. And it’s never too late to start moving in the right direction.
