England are in bad form. After five straight defeats, the three-match series against South Africa is the perfect opportunity to silence some critics.

But winning three away matches against the Springboks is hardly the easiest task. They’ll be bolstered by the historic captaincy of Siya Kolishi – South Africa’s first ever black Test captain.

England has newcomer Brad Shields on the bench – recently defector from New Zealand. His impressive displays for the Hurricanes have earned him a call up.

Here’s how to watch the action.

When is South Africa v England?

The first match in the series is on 9 June at 4:05pm UK time.

The second match is on 16 June at 4:05pm UK time.

The third march will end the series on 23 June at 4:05pm UK time.

How to watch South Africa v England

There are only a couple of ways to watch the matches in the UK

On Sky Sports

If you have Sky Sports, you’re good to go. The matches will be shown live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Action. Simply tune in.

Without Sky Sports

If you don’t have Sky Sports, you can watch South Africa v England with Now TV. Now TV is a paid-for short term subscription service to access channels including Sky Sports.

Click here to view Now TV sports packages.

You can opt for a day, week or month. Remember that any of these packages gives you access to all Sky Sports channels, so the £33.99 one month option will also let you watch the US Open Golf and the F1, as well as every rugby Test match in the series.

If you’re abroad

If you have Sky or Now TV but are on holiday abroad, you can still access your services using a VPN.

A VPN is a piece of software that makes your device think it’s in the UK. Then you can access otherwise geo-restricted services.

We recommend NordVPN – you can check it out and subscribe to its services here.
