Wired and Bloomberg Businessweek were the only two business-related magazines to receive nominations for the annual American Society of Magazine Editors awards, commonly known as the Ellies.
Wired was named a finalist in the general excellence category, which honors publications covering politics, business, science and technology as well as society and culture.
It was also a finalist for design and photography.
Bloomberg Businessweek was a finalist in the reporting category for for “I Hereby Confess Judgment,” by Zachary R. Mider and Zeke Faux, which was in the Nov. 26 issue.
